Masterfully hand-knotted by skilled Persian artisans, this pristine 1920s antique wool rug beautifully captures the bold, geometric artistry of classic Heriz design. Measuring 7’6″ x 11′ ft., the piece features a deeply saturated, rich rust-red field that exudes a striking, time-honored character. This dynamic canvas is anchored by a prominent, stylized central medallion and surrounded by large-scale, angular botanical motifs vividly rendered in a high-contrast palette of dark navy, crisp ivory, soft green, and pale blue. The commanding interior is elegantly framed by a broad, complementary dark navy main border detailed with continuous geometric floral patterns, providing a structured, sophisticated finish. Woven for enduring longevity and preserving its exquisite historical texture, this masterpiece from the Rouzati Rugs collection perfectly anchors a refined formal dining room, elevates a distinguished library, or brings breathtaking, grounded elegance to an expansive living area.

To ensure the longevity and beauty of your hand-knotted rug, regular maintenance is essential. We recommend vacuuming your rug frequently, being careful to turn off the beater bar to prevent damaging the natural fibers and delicate fringe. If spills occur, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing, which can push the stain deeper. Rotating your piece every few months will help it wear evenly and minimize color fading from direct sunlight. Finally, to truly protect your investment, we advise having your rug professionally washed at our Evanston cleaning facility every few years to gently remove deeply embedded dirt and restore its original luster.
