Masterfully hand-knotted by skilled Persian artisans, this exceptional antique wool rug captures the intricate botanical artistry of classic Tabriz design. Measuring 9’1″ x 11’10” ft., the piece features a deeply saturated, subtly abrashed field of midnight blue that exudes a magnificent, time-honored character. This striking canvas is anchored by a prominent, scalloped rust-red central medallion and surrounded by a densely woven network of stylized floral palmettes and curvilinear vines. These traditional elements are vividly rendered in a jewel-toned palette of crisp ivory, pale blue, and soft gold. The interior is elegantly framed by a broad, complementary rust-red main border detailed with continuous botanical patterns, providing a structured, sophisticated finish. Woven for enduring longevity, this historical masterpiece from the Rouzati Rugs collection serves as an ideal foundational layer to effortlessly anchor a refined formal dining room, a distinguished library, or an expansive living area.

To ensure the longevity and beauty of your hand-knotted rug, regular maintenance is essential. We recommend vacuuming your rug frequently, being careful to turn off the beater bar to prevent damaging the natural fibers and delicate fringe. If spills occur, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing, which can push the stain deeper. Rotating your piece every few months will help it wear evenly and minimize color fading from direct sunlight. Finally, to truly protect your investment, we advise having your rug professionally washed at our Evanston cleaning facility every few years to gently remove deeply embedded dirt and restore its original luster.
