Masterfully hand-knotted by skilled Afghan artisans for the exclusive Vaziri Collection, this monumental carpet brilliantly revives the robust geometric grandeur of antique Kurdish Garous Bijar design. Measuring an impressive 11’6” x 14’7” ft., the piece is anchored by a richly saturated, deeply abrashed coral-red field that plays host to a dramatic, oversized split-arabesque and palmette lattice rendered in striking, high-contrast tones of deep navy, pale ice blue, and soft ivory. This commanding interior composition is elegantly framed by a structured dark indigo main border densely adorned with classic botanical rosettes, perfectly containing the energetic, oversized tribal motifs of the central canvas. Woven from premium hand-spun wool to ensure legendary durability, this breathtaking, room-sized masterpiece serves as an extraordinary foundational layer for high-end interior design, ideally proportioned to effortlessly anchor a grand formal dining room or bring profound historic gravity to a sweeping transitional living space.

To ensure the longevity and beauty of your hand-knotted rug, regular maintenance is essential. We recommend vacuuming your rug frequently, being careful to turn off the beater bar to prevent damaging the natural fibers and delicate fringe. If spills occur, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing, which can push the stain deeper. Rotating your piece every few months will help it wear evenly and minimize color fading from direct sunlight. Finally, to truly protect your investment, we advise having your rug professionally washed at our Evanston cleaning facility every few years to gently remove deeply embedded dirt and restore its original luster.
