Masterfully hand-knotted by skilled artisans, this exceptional wool area rug beautifully reimagines classic Turkish Oushak design for the transitional home. Measuring 9′ x 12’3″ ft., the piece features a beautifully abrashed field of soft slate blue that exudes a serene, time-honored character. This striking canvas is adorned with a sweeping botanical lattice, showcasing prominent stylized floral palmettes and intertwining angular vines. The interior elements are meticulously rendered in a harmonious, muted two-tone palette of crisp ivory and warm cream. Elegantly framed by a subtle, complementary blue main border detailed with delicate floral motifs, this masterpiece seamlessly blends old-world elegance with a modern minimalist aesthetic. Woven for enduring longevity, it serves as an exquisite foundational layer, perfectly proportioned to anchor a refined dining room, spacious primary bedroom, or expansive living room.

To ensure the longevity and beauty of your hand-knotted rug, regular maintenance is essential. We recommend vacuuming your rug frequently, being careful to turn off the beater bar to prevent damaging the natural fibers and delicate fringe. If spills occur, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing, which can push the stain deeper. Rotating your piece every few months will help it wear evenly and minimize color fading from direct sunlight. Finally, to truly protect your investment, we advise having your rug professionally washed at our Evanston cleaning facility every few years to gently remove deeply embedded dirt and restore its original luster.
