This Turkish Modern Area Rug is masterfully hand-knotted by skilled Turkish artisans, brilliantly reimagining classic design through a contemporary, highly distressed lens. Measuring a generous 10′ x 13′ ft., the piece features a remarkably textured, heavily abrashed field of luminous silver, metallic grey, and deep charcoal. This striking, “erased” canvas reveals the shadowy remnants of a traditional central medallion and intricate geometric botanical motifs, creating a captivating sense of history and depth. The dynamic, subtle design elements are elegantly framed by the faint echoes of a classic main border, blending old-world artistry with a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. Woven for enduring longevity and sophisticated texture, this magnificent contemporary masterpiece serves as an exquisite foundational layer, perfectly proportioned to effortlessly anchor a refined formal dining room, elevate a spacious primary bedroom, or bring sleek, elevated warmth to an expansive living area.

To ensure the longevity and beauty of your hand-knotted rug, regular maintenance is essential. We recommend vacuuming your rug frequently, being careful to turn off the beater bar to prevent damaging the natural fibers and delicate fringe. If spills occur, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing, which can push the stain deeper. Rotating your piece every few months will help it wear evenly and minimize color fading from direct sunlight. Finally, to truly protect your investment, we advise having your rug professionally washed at our Evanston cleaning facility every few years to gently remove deeply embedded dirt and restore its original luster.
