Size: 3'1" x 10'4" ft
Made in the southern part of what used to be Caucasia, now the Russian States of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Nakichevan. These are the Kazaks are the best of thick rugs that came from Caucasia. Karabaghs have been called the floral Kazaks. Many of these are not as heavy as the Kazaks. Some of them used stylized flowers (very angular) in large clusters. All forms are stiff and conventional. Since these are very close to Kazaks, the rule is that when a rug, very much Kazak in quality and color, has some floral forms, call it a Karabagh. Some of these also come with stylized animals. The wool and general appearance is that of a Kazak. A large pear design is often used.
Good condition! No stains, no odor. Sides and ends original. Low pile. As shown in pictures.
